will once again be sharing her passion for glass fusing in an her
TWO FULL DAY-LONG CLASSES that will teach you
ALL the basics! You MUST have basic glass fusing experience
in order to take this class*
*You need NOT have taken a basic class with the Lasses, we only ask that you have a firm grasp of basic fusing skills (i.e., how to create a firing schedule for slumping, draping, tack fusing or full fusing, the C.O.E. of glass and why it is important, annealing, etc.). If you do not yet possess these skills, our FUSING FOR BEGINNERS class will teach you these and other essential techniques.

Learn How To Create Exquisite Dichroic Fused Glass Jewelry Adornments in our exciting series of TWO day classes!
Each student will create FOUR uniquely different dichroic glass jewelry pieces including THREE pendant cabochons, two of which will feature a horizontal channel running through the glass. The other pendant piece will be an exercise in etching glass using a simple resist technique and will feature a glue-on bail. Students will also create a pair of elegant, button-style earrings and techniques for creating drop earrings will be discussed and demonstrated. Students will learn how to design their pieces for maximum beauty and sparkle using a fabulous assortment of dichroic glass and a specially developed intarsia technique! Production methods will also be taught in this fun and fast-paced class. Students will learn and practice a number of finishing skills that will involve sawing, grinding, and drilling techniques, and will also be taught the proper methods for applying assorted findings to complete their jewelry designs.
The class fee is $300.00 for BOTH days and includes ALL the necessary materials and supplies, dichroic glass, and use of the tools and equipment. Classes begin at 9:00 AM and end at approximately 4:00 PM. Refreshments (drinks and snacks) will be provided by the Lasses but students will need to bring a brown bag lunch to BOTH classes! There will be a limit of SIX students per class. Those students who have taken the basic course with the Lasses will receive a 10% discount off the cost of the jewelry class.
A non-refundable deposit of $75. will be required
at the time of registration.
